I am Henno „BangL“ Rickowski (* 1987 in Germany, Buchenau). In my childhood i already had a big preference for electronic music, computers and Lego. My mom always listened to Celtic music and Reggae tunes. As a teenager i learned the basics of playing drum, guitar and keyboard. I also had access to software that was easy to use for producing electronical music. My first steps sounded like techno. Later i tried to produce hip-hop beats and for a short time i even stepped on the mic, but after all everything i did was just for experimental reasons and i never took those really serious. Between the year 2000 and 2003 i came across the musical direction “Jungle” through a guy named Kristian B. that i first met while playing an Onlinegame. Since then Jungle became more and more interesting for me and i have gotten very fast into it. I claim that Jungle, Drum ..n.. Bass and above all Dubstep represent the most enjoyable music styles in combination of all my past musical influences that i had until now. I make music only for fun and i do not try to adapt myself into a specific direction, instead i just tinker around on one track until it sounds good to me no matter which direction it is in the end.
