mini-interview by Anthony King: Tell us a little bit about yourself. What people should know about a person behind project Weepee?
Nothing special. I guess i'm just another producer, who enjoys the music. Quality music. Nowadays quality music is becoming a rarity, so why because i'm trying to change the world. Progressive house world.

AK: Questions about programs for making music are so popular, so just tell us, is it really hard to produce music nowadays?
Totally not. There are a lot of step by step tutorials. The hardest thing is to produce unique music, not the mainstream stuff.

AK: It's not secret for anyone, that dubstep became one of the most popular genres of EDM. Has it somehow influenced on your music?
Totally not. I didnt liked dubstep when its was undergound. I don't like it now.

AK: Is it harder to write an original track or remix and why?
Its depends. When you creating original music, you creating it for yourself, so you trying to put all your emotions inside. When you doing the remix, mostly of times because the Label wants it, so you tryint to make not just as you like, but also to fit the needs of the label. I prefer originals.

AK: What great djs / producers same as your style can be interesting for Morning Feelings listeners?
Well, there are a lot of great producers and djs, that is not so famous, but creating the masterpieces. Luis Junior, Deepfunk are on top for me now.

AK: Do you have any hobbies? What you like to do instead of working with music?
All my hobbies are related to the music: nightlife, clubs, parties, traveling (because of the parties) and etc.

AK: And last one: tell something about you guest mix. What listeners should prepare for?
Deep, dark, sexy. No David Guetta, no vocals. Music should have emotions by itself. Vocals should be at backgroud.

mini-interview by Andry Black:  Tell us how was born the idea to be a dj\producer? and how it happened?
Well there are not really much to say about this as it wasn't planned in my life before, also if i'm just got into thinking on that, cannot really believe that i'm doing this and also that i really love it, cause i have never thought that producing music and djing will be my purpose
but i'm happy of that and now i definitely know what is what i want and i'm gonna keep doing it.

AB: Why "Atapy", what does it means? Why not use your real name?
:) Yeah right, well not many people knows this but i'm gonna open it now for you guys, the name of "Atapy" contains my real name and also my dear sister's pronouncig of my first name when she was little as a botle,
so "A" comes from my name Arpi, "T" comes from my family name Takacs and the last three letters are the winning from my sister as she was so little she cannot pronounce Arpi she could only say "apy" :) i guess you do the rest of the puzzle.

AB: Tell, please,if it is not a secret what programs and the additional equipment are u using?
I'm using Ableton plus a bunch of VSTi plugins as i like to generate and create sounds and stuffs, also i'm on some Logic things too, about equipement don't think there is much to say, some small usual stuffs that every producer has it.

AB: Tell about some ridiculous situation during your performance or tours?
Haha, yeah i played in Oslo last year and we had a normal dj boot and i didn't know that it's actually a bigger size table wich can be moved pretty easily if you push it and after a few hours of my performance some girls in the front of it, had much fun
after a few glasses, and they simply started to jump closer and closer until they pushed the dj boot almost on me, i had luck with a few guys that just danced close to me so they could catch the table with all the stuffs on it plus that one of the players just simply stoped
working after a half hour but after all i could handle it and we had a really cool party.

There is a funny one :) when a drunk guy just shouted like 5 minutes continuously to play a track that he wanted it and i sent him signs that cannot really hear what he wants, then he just tryied to come on the right of me behind the boot and there was some small steps,
all i saw when i turned my head on right was the guy lying down with his beer all over on his face :P
   
AB: Do you prefer vinyl or CD?
I cannot say that i'm a really big one of choosing eather one or another, i play digital on a mac using timecode cd's and vinyl's but i guess mostly cd's anyway if i would be a real vinyl collector and dj then definitely would choose vinyl.

AB: What is you top5(chart) for today?

AB: What is your track do you consider most successful? "You Should Know" was most purchased on Beatport in 2011, can it be said that this was your peak of popularity in 2011?
Yea definitely, i guess this was the track wich mostly took me to a higher level but i have now my newest release the Remember EP out on NM2 (Noir Music 2) wich also helped me a lot, but the very first track when all started with a few steps upon all,
 it was my "Move Baby" track on Cimelde, as after this track released i got the most requests from bigger artists and labels, after this i got also the request from Tom for ALiVE and this is how "You Should Know" was created.
 
AB: You Remember EP was out on NM2, tell us a little about how u meets Noir? 
I didn't meet him personally but hopefully will do very soon but yeah i just keeped him updated with my promo remixes and stuffs and he always gived me a feed so i just felt i would need to send him some tunes considering as submission for the labe,
so he liked the tunes a lot, this is how it started and i think we are on a same line so this is why we just finished a collaboration so be ready for that soon.

AB: What kind of music do u prefer to listen exept EDM?
Well i think i'm open for everything that sounds good and creative, if something sounds good for me, its okay.

AB: What plans for nearest future? (GIGS, releases) 
About gigs i just have a few request wich are not yet confirmed for Ireland, France guess a few in Romania and there is a hopefully somekinda smaller US tour nothing confrmed as i told.
 Then about releases, what i have already mentioned is a track with Noir and a few remixes for Sasch BBC & Caspar on (Sleazy Deep), for Adriatique on (Hive Audio), also Dirty Culture and Cesar Coronado on (Flumo).

mini-interview by Anthony King: Tell us a little bit about yourself. What people should know about a person behind the project DNYO? 
 Cool, well i was born in São Paulo in a family where music was always being sung or played by my uncles. I grew up with gospel and classical music around me. My grand father was a local maestro, church based really, my mother and father were always choristers in his pieces. I got into electronic music when i was 14 - 15 back in in Miami. I used to sneak in clubs with fake id's, it was magical. I work with music on a daily basis, for that i am truly blessed.  

AK: Is it really hard to produce music nowadays?
Technology bursts easy ways and means now days, you can make things faster and when you do things faster, most likely they are to become something with less quality and creativity, but in the other hand, this burst in technology is also being used in ways that an artist will capture that moment where he feels his work flow has been made easier and embrace that into perfecting his work even more, making something beautiful. In any way around it, 10, 30 years ago or 30 years from now, making something original will always be hard. 

AK: It's not secret for anyone, that dubstep became one of the most popular genres of EDM. Has it somehow influenced on your music?
It has actually, lots of different sounds and artists do, but not the mainstream dubstep, but overall dubstep is part of a revolution, and revolutions are based on big ideas. I'm more of a James Blake, Hotflush Recordings type of fan.

AK: Is it harder to write an original track or remix and why?
No, actually, they are both the same to me, and how hard it is between them is based on how much sleep i get, basically. 

AK: What great djs / producers same as your style can be interesting for Morning Feelings listeners?
 Oh man, there are some really talented guys out there, but Brasil is going to take over real soon haha! GRG aka Georg, fantastic dj/producer, and André Sobota, by far one of our best creative minds in electronica down here, Redupre who's also a fantastic producer, these are all guys pitching their own stories who take their careers seriously. 
      

AK: Do you have any hobbies? What you like to do instead of working with music?
Oh i love me some movies! I like to watch them and rate them, comment and even recommend some to friends. I'm also trying to get back to playing Basketball, i love the game, i'm a big Celtics fan, i played back in High School.

AK: And a last one: tell us something about your guest mix. What listeners should prepare for? This one is filled with sounds i'm playing at the moment, it's a clash of vocals and deep progressions of house beats and slow builds, there are a couple of tracks of my own as well that are forthcoming on Vapour, Selekt Digital, Bad Pony and my own label Konstrukt.

Я и сам давно хотел это сделать, но всё как то руки не доходили.Подумав над этим, я решил, что оптимальных вариантов два: брать интервью по скайпу и накладывать сверху на выпуски или же начитывать самому в эфире. Первый вариант для меня удобней, но учитывая языковой барьер + занятость артистов.
Я пришел к выводу, что удобней всего будет брать интервью у русскоязычных артистов посредством записи звонка. Именно так и родилась идея создать рубрику "НА СВЯЗИ"

Tell us how was born the idea to be a dj\producer? and how it happened? 
I started out as a bboy, so i was always interested in breaks and drumsample loops. Because EDM is big in the Netherlands, you hear a lot of house music growing up, so switching to 4/4 beats was pretty obvious.

Brown papers, filtertips, 10E of Tbisla hasj and my mac ;)

Tell about some ridiculous situation during your performance or tours? 
Sorry but I can't think of a good story at this moment ;)

We know that you one of owners ESHU label. We have heard that it's label of undeground music. Tell us a little about this project? 
ESHU, starring with Roger Gerressen, Jocelyn Abell, Daniel Lekatompessy and myself. . Near the end of 2010 we decided to join forces and create a collective/crew of likeminded music lovers. We all try to represent the sound that Nijmegen is best known for and that is the sound of the underground. Techno in all shapes and forms.

What plans for nearest future? (GIGS, releases)
Some nice ESHU gigs is coming up and working on some cool stuff with friends and some cool stuff for Fear Of Flying.
