In a market flooded with so many inept, peaktime tracks, The Dixieland EP is like a palette cleaning piece of mint to the ears. First Friday Of The Year is the perfect set opener while Dixieland Wah Wah is just gold. Dixieland Wah Wah sounds as if Giorgio Moroder and The Police collaborated on a track together. The Playone & Griboedoff Remix, although quality, completely kills the vibe of the original and seemingly tries to force its way into the likes of Luciano's record crate. With that being said, it does stand on its own but the original is for me. Serious stuff!
